Christopher Stone is a father, husband, decorated veteran, former business executive, and public policy leader running to serve Virginia’s 20th District in the House of Delegates.
Stone served in the Air Force as an active duty, reserve, and national guard officer for over 20 years and recently retired in late 2024. He has led strategy and planning efforts supporting military commanders worldwide and in the Pentagon. He is a veteran of the Global War on Terror and was responsible for generating combat effects from space and the air in such campaigns as Operation Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and Inherent Resolve. As a result he is no stranger to fighting the terrorist threat and also served as a homeland security planner for such things as a pandemic, natural disasters and civil unrest.
Christopher has a broad experience in the private and public sector. He served on the staffs of two U.S. Senators and as a Presidential appointee in the Office of Secretary of Defense in 2018-19. During that time he provided advice and counsel to leaders in the Department of Commerce, Energy, and State. As a business executive he has served as a director of a municipal chamber of commerce, building and sustaining local business during the 2008-09 Great Recession. In 2009, he moved with his wife to Virginia as Vice President of a firm supporting senior government officials in both Republican and Democrat administrations as well as s numerous domestic and international organizations.
He ran for House of Delegates in 2021 and has decided to run again to become your next Delegate in Richmond for your security, prosperity and greater opportunity for all our citizens!
Christopher lives in Manassas with his wife Barbra and their two children, and their dog Scout.
